Dr. Cosmas Mwikirize is a Ugandan engineer, researcher, and innovation strategist whose career bridges biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and industrial development. He lectures in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Makerere University, teaching electronics, instrumentation, and applied ICT. He also plays a key role in national innovation policy as Superintendent of Industrial Value Chains Development at Uganda's Science, Technology and Innovation Secretariat, and serves on the boards of Innovex, DEI BioPharma Ltd, and Valley University of Science and Technology. He is the East Africa representative on the Africa Fulbright Network.
