Despite the existence of more than 7000 languages in the world, a small group of just 10 languages dominates the majority of internet usage. Africa is home to more than 2000 languages, and individuals in these countries are at a high risk of missing access to accurate and relevant information due to low internet penetration. This webinar presents the continued effort to change this story by developing speech software for low-resource languages. The purpose of this workshop is to disseminate the findings of our recent research in Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging field.

The workshop will be divided into presentation sessions and keynote speeches, each dedicated to a presentation and discussion of the research findings, challenges, and best practices.
